Proposals for a truckstop at Court Wood Interchange
We would like to introduce you to our proposals to develop a dedicated HGV truckstop facility on land immediately north of the Court Wood Interchange on the A20 near West Hougham, Dover.

Introduction
Currently used for agriculture, repurposing the site will provide secure HGV parking with high quality welfare facilities for lorry drivers. This will support the movement of cross-channel freight and ease traffic congestion in and around Dover. Importantly it will reduce anti-social parking in lay-bys and industrial estates for residents and businesses alike.
It offers the opportunity to provide safe and secure HGV parking and help improve the flow of HGVs through the town, and support the resilience of the Port at times of disruption caused by weather or industrial disputes.
